No, other users on my PC doesn't have such problem when opening any
folder.
This problem persist for my user since Ubuntu 12.04. Before update to
Ubuntu 12.10 I remove all hidden files. But problem appear anyway.

I experience some artifacts when open images with EOG (see attached screenshot):
- to much bright image;
- random bright vertical lines.
** Affects: eog (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undec
I have same issue. Appear when using services 4shared and idrivesync. Not
appear when using yandex and owncube webdav services.
In syslog appears message:

Another example of incorrect svg-rendering (see attached screenshot of
svg file opened using EOG and Firefox). This file rendered correctly in
Firefox and Inskape. But incorrect in EOG and GPicView.
