The issue in the gnome bug has been fixed (dragging text now creates a
file at the cursor position). The bug still manifests itself in other
drag and drop actions such the file-roller extraction mentioned above or

I think your TV (or video driver) probably reports the wrong dpi and so
the algorithms fail. This is, more likely than not, a bug in your video

File Roller is a crap! Sorry for harsh words but be honest. Waiting for
a 160MB archive to show up takes on my PC about 30secs (old P4, 2.0
GHz)... Total Commander in WinXP shows the main dir in 0.1s... Aren't

400% limit and the crashing due to insufficient memory are related. (as
is explained in the comments) The artificial limit has been put there to
prevent these crashes in most use cases. (but it's obviously a hack,
and not a good one).

I'm surprised about that though. I fixed the bug in the master branch
with a limitation: inserting blank pages only works when the document is
printed in whole. (it was a stupid idea, I know...) Did you select a
3-page range or did you print a real 3-page document?

I think the argument against doing what you suggest is that some printer
drivers mess up the page management (is this even true? I don't know how
cups operates and which part does the pagination.) and the evince guys
wanted to produce a write once run everywhere solution.

I still have a related problem. I have nautilus set to displaying the
size of the file at default zoom level. While it correctly updates
filesizes as a file grows, it does not update file counts in
directories. Should I file a new bug?

Jaunty. The xset/xset q/gnome-power-preferences/xset q reproduction also
shows the timers are reset. The monitor does not suspend. It only does
