Rhythmbox crashes on downloading new podcast episodes. When restarted,
rhythmbox completes the downloads successfully. I was unable to send
this bug via apport. For some reason, apport isn't sending the bug
report properly.

This is still a problem in intrepid. I see the exact behavior described above.

Originally I was able to use XDMCP with no problem at all. Some update
broke it.

Also, this appears to have happened before. A bug filed for Gentoo
(marked SOLVED) claims that updating GDM to version 2.20.2 fixed the
issue. Intrepid uses version 2.20.8.

One more comment: I opened Firestarter (not installed by default; do
"sudo apt-get install firestarter") and enabled port 177 from my XDMP
server. Suddenly XDMCP works again. However, "sudo ufw status" says
"not enabled," so I don't know why that works.

I had the same error, and I believe I have a work-around solution. In a
post above, marcmpub said he deleted his f-spot database, so I tried
doing that first. I removed /home/barry/.gnome2/f-spot/photos.db, then
opened f-spot normally (it worked fine). I set the program to look for

I tried reinstalling to no effect. Also, I have tried different
locations (I am in New York city). Other locations in New York (such as
Albany) get an updated forecast, so the problem appears to be specific
to New York city. None of the NYC locations (Central park, La Guardia
Airport, or Kennedy

In Karmic, with kernel 2.6.31-14, I still see the 'cannot lock device'
error when connecting a digital camera. Killing 'gvfs-gphoto2-volume-
monitor' stops the error. However, once I load f-spot and import the
photos, the gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor process is started again. Also,
