Hi, Thanks for replying - I'm completely lost with GREB - is there any way to install a more DOS like command line? Here's my attempt to answer - I asked GREB to find file names that I know exist on the disk, e.g. mike*.* but got instantaneous zero results which means it probably looked only in the small Ubuntu partition. I again tried the file browser appl came with Ubuntu searched for the same name. After a long time it did find the file so case closed - I suppose it was user error BUT I still claim I was misled during the setup to think the folder names which were consistent with windows were just that. In fact they're different which I'd like to fix but will have to spend some time first.
Thanks again, Mike On Mon, Jan 12, 2009 at 12:23 AM, A. Walton <awal...@ubuntu.com> wrote: > Thank you for reporting.
