I don't seem able to change the priority of this bug. I really don't
think it should be set to 'low' though. The bug can effect anyone who
fills up their disk, and leaves them completely unable to login, even to
search for help, assuming they don't know how to use text mode, which
most don't. They
I had a user with this same problem. In his case, he filled up the disk
by downloading stuff, then the next time he booted the computer GNOME
fails to start, just dumps you back at GDM with no explanation. He had
an essay to write and had absolutely no idea why his computer had
completely stopped w

It's definitely a usability problem, rather than a feature request. It
can be solved either by setting the disc capacity automatically or
reminding the user that they have to do it themselves. In the current
situation, my bet is that most users will fail to set the disc capacity
and will burn sever
If serpentine can be patched so that it does autodetect the disc
capacity, then I suggest moving the disc capacity widget from the front
of the GUI (make it uneditable instead). Because all the user can do by
altering the disc capacity is break it. If it has to be manually

Several times now I've been caught out when burning audio CDs with
serpentine. It does not set it's disc capacity setting automatically to
match the disc that is inserted, but it also does not provide any

Okay, a friend of mine has this problem on a Dell Inspiron laptop
running Dapper, with totem-xine. If I remember rightly, the same problem
was appearing with MPlayer as well. We didn't try xine-ui. She did not
have the problem on the same laptop with Breezy, when she was using
xine-ui.

To reproduce:
1. Install ubuntu, create user1 as the default sudo user.
2. From user1, create user2, another sudo user (admin user profile).
3. From user2 delete user1.
Problem: Now user2 is no longer an admin user, and the system is left
with no sudoers.

No, it's not network issues. If I create a 'Connect to Server' bookmark
on my desktop for the remote account, it seems to work fine. If I create
a 'Places' bookmark, remove the 'Connect to Server' bookmark. log out
and log in again, then try to access the Places bookmark, it freezes.

Another thing (perhaps this should be a separate bug)... when I have
remote volume icons on my desktop for these SSH folders they remain
after log outs and restarts, and have an 'unmount' option. Is nautilus
automatically opening SSH connections and mounting these volumes when I
log in?

Nope, I've managed to produce the freeze again. Made 'Places' bookmarks
to my 3 remote SSH folders, unmounted all 3 volumes in 'Network
Servers', logged out and logged in again, tried to open one of the
remote bookmarks, nautilus freezes.
I then accessed the remote folder by going to 'Connect to S
This is really weird, my 'Network Servers' bookmark to my SSH remote
account is now working fine with nautilus. Just 5 mins. ago the same
folder was causing nautilus to freeze as it had been since I upgraded to
dapper. There are two things that I did that I imagine could possibly be

I don't have any WebDAV or SMB shares. I tried accessing another remote
account in nautilus over private FTP, and that works fine (the same
account hangs using SSH).
Remote editing with Gedit is fine, using the same remote account and
over SSH (it's a pretty cool new feature too).

I'd like the severity of this bug increased at some point. Colour
blindness affects a significant number of people (up to 10% of males in
some cultures), and I can attest that these icons are very inaccessible
for people with at least my form of colour blindness (red-green).

I have this bug on ubuntu breezy. Guessing, it appears to be a bug in
nautilus.
I often use nautilus to access folders in a couple of remote accounts I
have via SSH. This works fine. But since I've been doing it a window
