Well, I sort of feel like an idiot here. I found the e-mails... Yep - in
my junk mail.
I didn't even know that there was anything in there - The folder doesn't
indicate if any messages are there so I always thought it was empty.
That IMO is a bug in itself. I think at the very least if e-mail gets

I should add also, I am sure this happens with IMAP accounts and
probably other types of accounts. I think the real issue is that syncing
/ fetching is not being handled in a separate process / thread so that
evolution can remain responsive at all times.

I can also confirm this happens on a RDC connection to a windows server.
I am using Feisty Herd 4. This isn't a show stopper - just ugly and if
easily fixed it should be. We don't error aestetics deterring new
potential Linux users.
