I noticed that when it fails to connect to an account, the following
processes keep running until you kill them and then it works. It may
help...

I have the same bug, using Ubuntu 13.04. Killing signonpluginprocess
fixes the issue temporarily. After a disconnection, it doesn't come back
online. I have two accounts: Google (without 2-step verification), and a
facebook account. Sometimes only one fails. Why is it so random?
