Public bug reported: Hello, Thanks for developing fcitx! I am on Lubuntu (Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid) + fcitx ui-light 0.1.3.2. For some reason, no matter what input method I use for Chinese (pinyin, Google pinyin, Wubi ...), the list of options for characters is always displayed as a big black empty frame. Although the characters themselves can be typed in (see screenshot attached), I can't view the characters I need to select... I tried de-installing fcitx and re-installing, and I also installed compton just in case (following the info on here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/451095/lubuntu-14-04-and-fcitx-qimpanel-how-to-remove-this-black-square/451285#451285 and there: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2144468) -- but still no joy. Any advice?
