Bruno's problem sounds slightly different than mine. ALT+PrintScreen always works for me. And when a window only screenshot is taken using the menu method (as opposed to ALT+PrintScrn), if it works at all, it always gets the top left corner of the desktop, whether the screenshot tool's window is
