Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

If you open "Users and Groups" as a regular user and open up the details
of a user you are prompted to enter your password upon closing the
details dialog (à la gksu). There does not appear to be any valid
reason to prompt the user for his password at this point. Entering the
password does not "unlock" the application; if you want to make changes
you must still click on "Unlock" and re-enter your password.

This bug is not filed upstream with Gnome, due to multiple errors with
their system I am unable create an account.

Since this bug relates to elevated privileges it may pose a security
risk, but I've left that determination to be made by someone more
knowledgeable than I.

System:
Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64
System fully up to date with official US repos as of 2009/06/22.

** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
