renfe.com, click "Welcome" then click the shopping trolley.
I clicked on the "Departure" drop-down to open it up. This contains a
lot of items so expands to fill the scree

Sorry, I'm a bit confused about this. I can confirm that the problem is
still there after an upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10, and all the editions

I should add that there is a display panel icon in Unity mode, and that
the problem is, not surprisingly, still there.

The bug is still there in Natty, at least in Classic mode; I don't know
if there is such a thing as a display panel icon in Unity mode.

When I remove the power, I get a notification message (? - the thing on
a black background near the top right hand corner of the screen) saying
