Tested and this isnt fixed in intrepid, also Im not sure why this report
is marked Incomplete , its very easy to test this in a default install
of ubuntu.

sorry, I forgot to mention, that I still had this problem when browsing
the mounted samba file system (mounted in the fstab) so I dont see why
gnome-vfs would be causing it.

My dad had this problem in fiesty and I just dist-upgraded to gutsy and the
problem is still there

in the gtk file chooser there are 2 desktop icons on the left hand side.
One is at the top area, another one is down with the bookmarks, this was
default when installing gutsy (I did not mess with the settings and my gutsy is
up to date)
