After upgrading from 8.04LTS to 10.04LTS I ran into the same problem, but the
problem affected a group of Applets, like the Desktop-Applet, the Date-Applet
(which also crashes), etc...
I tried reinstalling the gnome-applets and gnome-applets-data. It made
I also have the same problem while using Ubuntu 8.04.2 32-bit on a Dell D400
laptop.
Is there an estimate when the fix (using 2.20.8) will appear in the repository?
