I haven't seen a tasklist-associated crash in a few months, although
I've been running Karmic for only about a week now. I don't know if this
is because the problem has been fixed or if something else is masking
it. I still get occasional Evolution crashes, they just don't appear so
clearly to be
I could, but it's been about a month or so since I've seen the bug (must
be something changed in my config since evolution hasn't been upgraded
since then)
Perhaps it would be better if Sven opened upstream bug report.

evolution-data-server quits sometimes after loading my task list.
Usually it works the first time but crashes after several loads.
For instance, if I start evolution and then click the Clock applet
several times, which causes the task list to

No workee. Apport does not detect the crash; /var/crash is empty even
though evolution-data-server clearly had a segmentation fault. What
gives?

This time, I had two instances of evolution running (I think it was, at
least I had somehow ended up with two windows). Crash occurred when I
hit Ctrl-q on one of the two.

Evolution ran successfully when I tried again, but I got a similar crash
a little while later, this time when switching from mail to calendar.
I'm using ubuntu 8.10 and evolution 2.24.3-0ubuntu1

Here's another one. This time I'm certain evolution was idle; I unlocked
the screen and to find evolution locked up and evolution-data-server
stopped. When I ran c in gdb, evolution-data-server immediately
segfaulted. Stack trace attached.
