Apparently this happens only when the line is wrapped. I tried to reproduce the
bug with a bigger shell window and it works fine, although there's still
present the issue with the prompt (some commands start right next to the $ and
others --most of them-- don't)

Oh this is sad, I thought it was going to be solved for Karmic, we would
have to still doing it manually and searching in google for a solution,
uhhmm, ok no way.
But I think reading the hole tread that also effect's the following
country's:
Colombia
Puerto Rico
El Salvador
Nicaragua
Costa Rica
I hope this will be solve by Karmic, there are many evidence that in Colombia
AM/PM is the standard time notation.

I change a proxy on my laptop when I am home and when I travel. Recently
upgrading to karmic broke this with a silent error. This is what it
spits out to the console. This was working fine with Jaunty.

there's only the "hide menu bar" option on the terminal, not the rest of
the OS (such as folders, etc). I think it should be there and allow me
to choose whether i want or not to see the Menu Bar.
