So, actually, the problem is a wrong preview in the dialog. This has
been reported upstream at
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=526581 more than one year
ago. Maybe we should make some noise there. :-)

The upside-down bug is new. However, I don't think that this is a
blocker for the update.
The grayed-out box has been reported as #480895.

Binary package hint: evince
The "orientation" select box is grayed out when trying to print (PDF)
files. This may be reasonable for single-paged files, but when printing
two or more pages on one, it would be nice to change from landscape to
portrait mode and vice-versa.
See
This fexed at least #472400. However, this introduces new bugs; please
see comments 8-10 on #472400.

Well, the original ratio problem seems to be fixed, but now the slides
are turned upside down. See the attached PDF and the screenshot of my

Another problem is the wrong preview of the page layout, it shows a
landscape page although the final print is a portrait file. But I

I'm sorry to ask, but how am I supposed to confirm this? This commit
fixes severeal landscape/ratio/printing issues, so I think it should be
correct.

When printing mutiple slides/pages on one page, the aspect ratio of
