Hi,
I have the same problem , when I executed any command in gnome terminal.
for example: ls
then gnome restart and going back to the login screen.
I issue appear in live session testing lucid alpha 3 amd64.

I am refer when you add count with wrong id. You have to remove this
count and add new one with correct id to connect correctly. You can not
edit user settings and connect to server. You can test it. try to create
a wrong count and try to edit manually to connect to the server.

if you create a Gmail account without the full name. empathy can not connect to
gmail, even edit the data by hand. the only way is to delete the account and
create a new one with the correct name of mail (usern...@gmail.com). this still
appear in empathy 2.28.1.1.

to disable the problem , you have open terminal and execute:
gconf-gnome
then go to section app -> gnome-setting-deamon -> plugins -> a11y-
keyboard
disable this option.
