Sometimes when coming back after locking the screen I am unable to
unlock. The login box on the screen has a disabled password input field
with the buttons also disabled.
Except for the mouse, the entire screen is frozen. Even the time in the
top of the screen stops going. Th
The problem is still there. It does not happen as frequently as in the
beginning though.
Also, I noticed that if I do not log in directly, but instead wait for a
while after the login-screen is up, the issue is less likely to appear.

After logging into an account for the first time after starting the
computer, nautilus will display weird icons for files and folders.
Logging out and in again solves this problem for the session. Logging
into a different account will display the same behavior, until that too
Synclient confirms the buttons are switched:
$ synclient -l | grep TapButton
TapButton1 = 1
TapButton2 = 3
TapButton3 = 2
This will fix it for the session (or until you connect another device
like a mouse, or something handled by uinput):
syncli
