I don't know whether the many comments from other people complaining

I can definitely mount multiple shares (all from the same server, some
are authenticated and some are not) although sometimes I get the "DBus
error" message even if a lot of time passes between the mounts.

I did the following. First I stopped evolution with:
$ evolution --force-shutdown
then I ran /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.28 and evolution
on two terminals. As soon as I click on the Ubuntu One address book
evolution-data-server-2.28 prints:
