The following seems to have got me running normally again. Working on the
theory the keyring file was somehow corrupted, I deleted the keyring file...
rm ~/.local/share/keyrings/login.keyring
...and rebooted. A new keyring file has been generated and everything looks
good for now!

I booted off a live cd ix386.iso Ubuntu 11.04.
I got this bug on my windows 7 laptop, with wubi installed and updated to

Computer turns on, starts up Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Alpha 3, Show Login Screen,
starts count down for Auto Login, if no user input-it auto logs in no problem.

This bug disappeared for a while during Lucid Lynx Alpha 1 & 2, but has
returned I noticed today. I can probably go through the different
kernels sometime and see which ones work right and which ones don't.

I tried to backtrace it, but it did not crash this time, feel free to
close bug report and I will re-open if it happens again. I am using
Hardy Heron 8.04 Beta 1 so maybe something was fixed somewhere that was

pick it up and do a stacktrace", so stop sending (non-useful) info until then.
a month later you post that your closing it because it needs more info ? and

I understand the request for not attaching a crash file, so the
preferred method is for me to open up another bug report and what link

Yes, I did re-start, a few times. I think new kernel change fixed this
for me on both computers that I observed this message on, thanks.
