Hi, the ISO was crunchbang-10-20110105-openbox-amd64.iso altough after canceling the proccess the cd was bootable (live disc) i didn't check it full. and lshw lists this info for the recorder: *-cdrom description: DVD-RAM writer product: DVD RW AD-7581A

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero I've started an ISO burn and after say 10 minutes (ended burning) Brasero started the verifying checksum and spent there like 40 min until i canceled the proccess. Also it still won't be able of eject the dvd-rw tray on my HP550 notebook. Ubuntu

Well it still happends, opened gnome-dictionary as a normal user then go to edit menu and preferences, on the source tab double clic a source (for me was "Diccionario de español") and then close the source properties window without changing anything.
