it correctly, not scaling it to the whole page, so I think that this bug was
fixed in the latest release.

You are right, trash is visible on the bottom gnome-panel bar but average users
(read as ex-windows user) don't see it and furthermore still remain the second
part of the problem, no easy mode to show trash icon on desktop so any user can
eventually choose as fit yours needs.
I still see shortcut in all menu (firefox, gedit, nautilus etc.)
Lucid Linx 10.4, ambiance theme (but same with radiance and other themes)
Where I'm wrong??

I've launched gedit to modify some configuration files.

gvfs,gfvs-backend and gvfs-fuse.

Same for me.
I use Ubuntu hardy 8.04, and now (I think after some upgrade related to gvfs)
after I open a new file in gedit, when I try to save the file the UI hang and
nothing happen (It's possible only to force quit the window).
Instead if the file exists before the function Save works correctl
Not so quickly! ;-)
Every time I restart the computer or simply restart udev, /dev/null,
/dev/random and /dev/urandom got erroneous permissions.
I've made a fresh install of Hardy from a daily cd and doesn't have this
problem, only qhen upgarde from Gutsy.

I've solved. The problem was an erroneous permissions on /dev/null .
Simply:
sudo chmod a+rw /dev/null
and all OK again. I don't know what package change this.
