When multiple folders are imported, if one contains a symlink to a file
in the other (file or subdirectory), the file gets added to the library
twice, since the paths are different, even though the inodes are the
same.

Same problem here. Happened with upgrade to Jaunty. Affected programs
are banshee, evince, preferences applications. I tried the fixes
mentioned elsewhere. Reinstalling gnome-settings-daemon does not solve
the problem. Please let me know what other info would help.
