Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal my computer detected the bug and asked me to report. Since second last update I cannot access synaptic and sudo apt-get install -f or dpkg configure-a in terminal unsuccessful. More info was gathered by computer and should be included.

Further possible relevant info: I have a standard 386 pentium 4 machine with everything normally needed.I upgraded to 10.10 and as usual went to the after install wiki for sound and video to install medibuntu package,googleearth etc.On reloading I was told I have duplicate medibuntu
