Binary package hint: gnome-media
I've spent the past couple of days researching this on the internet.
I have a soundcard with the CMI8738 chipset, on a desktop running Ubuntu Edgy.
In 5.1 mode all works, except the center-speaker (the subwoofer works, but not
the center speaker)
I can't see a separate control for the center speaker, only for Master
and PCM.
