I think this has to do with my cd rom. It has always been a bit of a problem in that it won't recognise burnt cd's when it is the first type of cd I open. If I try factory made cd's first then I can try a burnt cd. But today I got the above error when I booted with the cd in the drive. I just closed the error box and i was able to do everything else except open and cd rom files. None of my usual tricks are working now.
