would be much appreciated as Plantronic headsets aren't excatly what you

gnome-volume-manager not controlling usb headset volume properly
I got a similar issue on the plantronics .500 usb headset. When using
gnome volume control it turns the volume on the left side down. With
alsamixer I am able to control both sides.
