I tore apart this laptop and am running 10.04 on another laptop. So,
last I knew it was a problem but not on every machine.
If it is not a problem for anyone else, I won't put the laptop back
together and disable all suspend/hibernate settings in gnome-power-
manager by setting them to blank scree
