Public bug reported:

Evolution data server does not sync google calendar. All applications based on 
evolution data server (evolution, gnome-shell-calendar in top bar, gnome 
calendar, indicator-datetime, cinnamon calendar applet) do not display events 
in calendar.
I've tried other gnome distros in live mode (fedora, debian, opensuse) and all 
work as expected. Tried linuxmint and cinnamon calendar applet does not display 
events.
Furthermore korganizer and Kalendar in kubuntu (based on akonadi) work as 
expected.
