Unity does not supply Gnome Shell's "Appmenu" and there is no epiphany-
globalmenu package or similar. There is no (easily identifiable) way to
access the Epiphany browser's preferences, not even with dconf-editor.

LVDS1 reactivates when VGA1 is being dimmed just prior to being powered
off as a result of the inactivity timer. At the same time, the gnome
panels are moved from VGA1 to LVDS1. "Unminimized" application windows
remain on VGA1. The workaround described in Comment #3 restores things
to how they were

- not make it reappear, although sticky notes disappeared and then
- reappeared. after restarting gdm, and thus losing my whole login
- session, the panels were present again.

Actually, I have some more information. This is with a multimonitor
setup: laptop and external VGA. The external monitor was set to on and

Would it be out of place to suggest that an entry be added to the
release notes that this is a known issue and give the workarounds of:
(1) leaving the source window or program open until after the paste is
complete or (2) installing parcellite (any), glipper (Ubuntu), or
klipper (Kubuntu)? I do no

I didn't notice any crash, but apport popped up with this bug report.
It happened after I added four weather panel applets to the top panel.
After setting the locations, if I hovered over the icon it would show
the wrong city. So I logged out
Well, I have not tested _every_ time a user logs off, but the short
answer is yes. Although I no longer have access to the network where I
first discovered this issue, my recollection is that processes remain
every time a user logs off. If not every time, then nearly every time.

Binary package hint: nautilus
Fully up to date Hardy beta as of 25-Mar-2008. Was burning an iso to CD
with Brasero, CD ejected and Brasero asked me to reinsert it in order to
verify the md5sum. When a CD is inserted, Nautilus pops open a window.

Just happened to me on fully up to date Hardy beta as of 25-Mar-2008.
CD appears to be burned properly, though.

Many apologies, but I am unable to reproduce this crash now using
updated nautilus, so unable to provide backtrace.
