@p4man: I have a 120GB Maxtor (6Y120L0). Reallocated Sector Count Threshold = 63, Value = 191 sectors, so palimpsest gives me the "Disk has many bad sectors warning" each time I log in. So I ran the manufacturer's diagnostic tool "SeaTools for Windows" in Long DST mode which reads each sector, and
