Currently in lucid it's not possible to apply a keyboard layout system
wide. Pressing the "apply system wide" button in the app has no effect,
and terminal displays the error:
"Caught remote method exception org.freedesktop.PolicyKit
Some more information -
After this bug is triggered and a folder view is missing files, if you then
switch to another folder with missing thumbnails, then back to the first
folder, all the missing files are displayed again with proper thumbnails.

drag and drop images or video into subfolder
I see this same behaviour - if i drag and drop a video file to move it
from my downloads folder to the video folder on the sidebar, then switch
the folder to the video folder, this file won't have a proper thumbnail
- just the 'generating thumbnail' icon. If I then refresh the view of
that folder,

the plugins-bad deb).
Using stock intrepid totem, dvd playback works "ok" for me, on a few
titles I've tested it on.

The latest updates to libcanberra (0.6-0ubuntu1) and ubuntu-sounds (0.8)
fix this issue, in that the controls are no longer disabled and the
ubuntu sound theme now appears correctly as a choice of sound theme.
I'm going to file a seperate bug about the window & button sound effects
not working.

the mimetype= line in /usr/share/applications/brasero.desktop is wrong,
it should read

I tracked down an alpha 2 cd, and took a screenshot with the better
icon. Turns out it's the same icon that's currently used under the
context menu for "Mark as Important".
I also checked in the usr/share/icons, and it looks like nothing has
changed there since alpha 2 (ie, stock_mail-priority-hig

Looks like the default menu name for GIMP has changed from "GIMP Image
Editor" (in gutsy) to "GNU Image Manipulation Program" (in hardy alpha
4). Given that all the other default programs installed in the ubuntu
menu follow a format like "F-Spot Phot
I can confirm this - with evolution 2.21.3 on hardy the "Google Sources"
plugin is missing.
