You have been subscribed to a public bug: When the icons on the desktop are placed automatically, or is selected to 'Organize Desktop by Name', the icons are arranged in an acceptable order, seperated fairly as shown here -http://oi45.tinypic.com/244we46.jpg. But when the user manually arranges the icons, the slots (Can I call them that?) are included in places so that the text can overlap or the icon layout is inconsistent (http://oi46.tinypic.com/15xpklh.jpg). This looks ugly unless you right-click and 'Organize Desktop by Name'.
It would be better and more astetically pleasing if the icons were organized properly in consistent spaces. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- Icons on desktop inconsistent. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1013416 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
