Binary package hint: beryl-settings-simple
Clean install of last night's i386 daily build, updated with all
outstanding updates before continuing, then installed gnuCash and NTP
support.
Downloaded Beryl with package manager and installed, attempting to start
Beryl results in white screen. Hitting Alt+Tab will bring up some
Beryl boxes, but as soon as the keys are released the boxes disappear.
Easily reproducible using InnoTek's VirtualBox (in this case the Windows
version) emulating 10Gb hard drive with 384Mb of memory). Physical box
is AMD 4700 w 2Gb memory.
I also get the exact same results at home using the AMD64 build (Athlon
64 3000+ with 512M) . I can get to the alternate consoles with no
problem, I just have to end the current session running Beryl.
