Public bug reported: The gnome-keyring-daemon is leaking memory, quite badly. My current gnome-keyring-daemon process's usage:
$ cat /proc/25537/status Name: gnome-keyring-d State: S (sleeping) Tgid: 25537 Pid: 25537 PPid: 1 TracerPid: 0 Uid: 1001 1001 1001 1001 Gid: 1001 1001 1001 1001 FDSize: 256 Groups: 4 20 24 25 29 30 44 46 106 107 108 111 121 133 142 146 1001 1010 1011 2000 VmPeak: 1191980 kB VmSize: 1191980 kB VmLck: 776 kB VmPin: 0 kB VmHWM: 20496 kB VmRSS: 17740 kB VmData: 1180548 kB VmStk: 136 kB VmExe: 912 kB VmLib: 6172 kB VmPTE: 636 kB VmSwap: 28 kB Threads: 141 SigQ: 0/31006 SigPnd: 0000000000000000 ShdPnd: 0000000000000000 SigBlk: 0000000000005001 SigIgn: 0000000000001000 SigCgt: 0000000180010000 CapInh: 0000000000000000 CapPrm: 0000000000004000 CapEff: 0000000000004000 CapBnd: ffffffffffffffff Cpus_allowed: f Cpus_allowed_list: 0-3 Mems_allowed: 1 Mems_allowed_list: 0 voluntary_ctxt_switches: 9754 nonvoluntary_ctxt_switches: 270 As you can see, 1GB of ram for such a trivial (in terms of data use) process is simply insane. This will continue (as it has in the past) until the process gets an ENOMEM and exits and a new one is started in it's place, only to fall victim to the same fate.
