Public bug reported: I use a Logitech USB headset. On the System | Preferences | Sound dialog box, I set all the "Sound playback" and "Sound capture" options to "USB Audio". All sound now plays through my headset, which is good.
If I disconnect the headset, then reconnect the headset, sound is played through my laptop speakers. This is unexpected. Sound should continue to play through my headset. When I go the System | Preferences | Sound dialog box, all of the options are set to "USB Audio (disconnected)". I can change them to "USB Audio" and then sound works as expected. ** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Sound preferences break when USB headset is disconnected then reconnected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105772 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
