This bug is actually in acccountservices, which had been patched to look
for gdm file in /etc/gdm3. This is no longer the case, so I have dropped
that patch. This fixes the autologin toggle in gnome-control-center, not
being able to update configuration files.

For now I've fixed this issues by changing
[daemon]
# Enabling automatic login
AutomaticLoginEnable = true
AutomaticLogin = user1
in /etc/gdm/custom.conf
Searching for this issue I found that this could be a bug in
gnome-control-center:

I need to look into this further, however I noticed that autologin works
on a ubuntu GNOME remix install, however it doesnt work on a vanilla
quantal install with gdm installed later.
