I set up 2 custom gnome-themes incl. background images, which the theme-manager
can apply since feisty (afaik).
But choosing either theme and appling the background-image doesn't change the
style of the background (zoom,tiled,scaled,...)
to reproduce you have to set up
theme 1 with a bg-image which should be fitted to the screens width, i.e.
background-style = zoom
theme 2 with another smaller bg-image which should be displayed more than
once, i.e. background-style = tiled
try switching between those themes and pressing the "Apply
Background"-button and you'll see that the bg-style won't change.
