PGP MESSAGE-" line in that comment. It got removed by the formatting
by launchpad.

I am still affected by this bug. From what I can tell some clients
insert an extra blank line before the pgp "header" if this might have
got something to do with it;

The encrypted message is base64 encoded. The detection scheme for PGP
appears to not de-base64 decode the message before looking at the body
to see if it is an encrypted message.

Thank you for your bug. No need to send upstream bugs on launchpad if
that's not something we should really consider for next version, we
don't have the desktop ressources at the moment to work on the upstream
