Public bug reported: I updated Ubuntu 12.04 to version 14.04 using "sudo update-manager -d". No errors occurred but the gnome-settings information dialogue tells me that I am running Ubuntu 13.10. This is very confusing for the average user. I'm running the Gnome Desktop.
