Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I have three messages in my folder: messages 1, 2 and 3.

Message 1 has the subject "Tomorrow" and was sent to me and another
person.

Message 2 is a reply, with subject "Re: Tomorrow" and was also sent to
me and the original sender.

Message 3 is an e-mail written 5 months ago, also with the subject "Re:
Tomorrow", also written to me, but the sender is not one of the senders
in Messages 1 or 2. Yet, Message 3 gets threaded with Messages 1 and 2.

I am attaching the messages which cause this behavior for me in a tar.gz
file. Clearly the threading code is broken for some edge case caused by
these messages.
