Sorry for the spam but this might make it even clearer: What happens to the search string in the search dialog as it is reopend (1st time, 2nd, etc.) : 1st \n 2nd \\n 3rd \\\n 4th n 5th \n etc. I seriously doubt this is the same bug. -- search adds slash to escaped strings
