Public bug reported: To reproduce, please:
1. Mount an FTP or SFTP server in nautilus. 2. Open the server in Nautilus, and bookmark a remote folder using Ctrl+D 3. Unmount the server. 4. Open gedit, pane "File Browser", click on the bookmark you added. Expected: File browser should mount and open the bookmark (remote folder). Just like Nautilus does. What happened: Gedit crashes, "Segmentation fault" message is shown in the terminal. Comment: This doesn't happen when the server is already mounted. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 15.10 Release: 15.10 $ apt-cache policy gedit gedit: Installed: 3.10.4-0ubuntu13 Candidate: 3.10.4-0ubuntu13 Version table: *** 3.10.4-0ubuntu13 0 500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ wily/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1521166 Title: Segmentation fault when opening a network share To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1521166/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
