Hi, I don't know if this is related to Unity, I followed an advice on Nautilus
bug report.
I made the cut/paste with shortcuts ctrl+x/ctrl+v.

If you cant'even switch to tty I doubt it's a unity problem. How did you
perform the cut/paste? Drag and drop of menus?
