Have the same problem on HP Compaq 6710b. With two full batteries
connected (1 internal, 1 external), discharge estimate time is much the
same as with one full battery. This is on a fully updated Jaunty.

I can't seem to apply updates using the alpha6 livecd, I'll test it out
after hardy is released.
