Hey, I don't know how to provide technical information relevant to the
problems rhythmbox is having. My computer is just over a month old. It
came preinstalled with Gutsy but I immediately upgraded to Hardy. Even
in the first few days or so, I was having significant issues with
rhythmbox. It fr

The fix came out really late last night (I was about to post back that there
wasn't a fix) and I don't think it would have made that liveCD.

I don't know why my bug report would be move here
The bug i report is related to Magnatune Store plugin, it is reproducible in
8.04 alpa 6 LiveCD
disabling it will result in a crash

Just upgraded to Hardy, and had album art plugin disabled. Turned the
plugin on in gconf and Rhythmbox boots up fine now.
Still hasn't been fixed yet, seems.

at least it works for me

Confirmed. Enabling the artdisplay plugin (gconf key:
/apps/rhythmbox/plugins/artdisplay/active) stopped the crashing.
Disabling it again caused it to crash when it was restarted again.

Steps to reproduce. Use a clean user profile.
Open Rhythmbox.
Edit -> Plugins.
Uncheck Cover Art.
Click close.
Exit Rhythmbox.
Attempt to start rhythmbox (it should crash here).

I fixed it by clearing my home directory. And then I broke it again by
disabling all plugins except for DAAP sharing. Can someone else confirm
that turning off some plugins breaks this? (and possibly narrow it down
to one)

I can confirm, what William wrote. I tried to move
./.gnome2/accels/rhythmbox, ./.gnome2/rhythmbox and
./.gconf/apps/rhythmbox, the Music folder and downloaded Podcasts out of
the way, but nothing helped.
When the segfault first occurred, I realized that I have several seconds
to access the GUI be
