The bug seems to be reintroduced with the update to version
2.22.2-0ubuntu1 in hardy. I disabled the plain-text plugin and the
meeting buttons were restored.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work
Running on an up-to-date hardy machine, the full meeting request
(buttons and all) now shows up below the text representation, which is
acceptable behavior to me.

Yes, I've reproduced it with a new user and on seperate machines.
I forgot to add that in the preferences window under Mail Preferences
and the HTML Mail tab you have to select Prefer PLAIN or Only ever
show PLAIN.
