i can confirm that this is problem for me as well, have seen it on two
fresh and fully updated installs of 17.10, each on a thinkpad t530.

Dear all,
I switched to 17.10 on Friday and I noticed the same exact problem.
This is not solved, because my Ubuntu version is fully updated.

I Just come back from vacation, I did not bring this PC, then when I
arrived I just updated it, and from now on, no Pb any more.
I suspect the latest updates solved the issue.

g-vaquant, you should be able to reproduce your issue and run this command in
the terminal to get the log: G_DEBUG="all" NAUTILUS_DEBUG="All" nautilus Then
you can add the log here in LP.
