Binary package hint: gedit
Browse to a smb:// share with Nautilus, the open a text document by
double-clicking it's icon or by right-clicking and selecting 'Open with
"Text Editor"'. Often times, and for unknown reasons I am presented with
the following error:
Could not open the file smb://path/to/file.txt
Unexpected error: Internal error
Along with the error is a "Cancel" button. After this initial error,
subsequent attempts to open the same file will usually fail, in the same
manner. One must first close gedit then try again(which may or may not
work), or first click the cancel button, and then try again without
closing gedit(which always works).
