Public bug reported: TMPTIME is incorrectly migrated on an upgrade from Trusty to Xenial.
tmp.conf uses D where it should be d. This also has the effect of wiping /tmp no matter what. This is fixed in Debian. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=795269 This could result in data loss, although storing non-volatile files in /tmp is madness. ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: systemd (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Tags: xenial ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #795269 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=795269 ** Also affects: systemd (Debian) via https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=795269 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1732489 Title: TMPTIME is not honoured To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1732489/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
